In November
2017, in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk the regional championship on Hachi-o-kai
Kan Ryu Karate-do took place.
Competitions
were held in the disciplines: Kumite, Kata, Kobudo. About a hundred athletes
(including the Zhezqents) competed in the techniques of combat, possession of
weapons and in the technique of performing formal exercises.
Due to the fact
that Zhezkent athletes practically did not interrupt their studies during the
summer holidays, they performed with demonstration programs at various events,
in addition, two seminars took place during this period, the team of the
village of Zhezkent (Borodulikhinskaya DYSH) performed well in all disciplines,
first place. In second place - the team of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, the
third were the guys representing the team of the village of Glubokoe.
The trainer and
athletes express gratitude to all who rendered this or that help in the trip to
the competitions, and specifically: the Department of Culture, Language
Development, Physical Culture and Sport of Borodulikha district, the Akimat of
the Zhezkentsky district, the Borodulikha sports school, individual
